Construction of a brand new three-story, 60,000 square-foot Crawford County judicial center.
Justice received a face-lift recently as the Crawford County judicial center underwent an extensive renovation. Wm. T. Spaeder provided services ranging from installation of fire protection sprinkler systems, plumbing and more. The new Crawford County Courthouse has been built next to the existing courthouse and contains new courtrooms, chambers, and jury rooms, as well as space for the District Attorney’s staff and court administration. Spaeder provided sprinkler system installation, commercial and prison plumbing fixture fabrications, and underground storm and sanitary. Secured circulation routes were provided at all levels of the building to separate user groups (witnesses, defendants, judges, etc.) and restrict access to sensitive areas. Special features include an interior sally port for secure prisoner transport, central command with complete audio and visual monitoring capabilities, and individual as well as group holding cells. The overall facility incorporated blast and ballistic-rated assemblies where necessary.
As a fire protection contractor, Wm. T. Spaeder specializes in the design and installation of wet, dry, and chemical suppression fire protection systems.
